Original title: "Fatherhood is ... calming your son down when he gets upset."
Dante: "For the last time, kid. You can't just stab people when you get angry." Nero: "Shut up! I can stab you whenever I want!" Dante: " ... C-Cheeky brat. // Vergil, just what kind of exhausting legacy did you leave me here? You did this on purpose, brother! ... //"
I can so imagine this, haha. This little scene came to my mind as I was wanted to draw another "Fatherhood is..." picture. But featuring Dante and Nero for a change. For me they sometimes appear like father and son in the game. Dante has a unique way to show he cares about his nephew, but he really does since Nero is the only thing left of his dearest brother. And since Vergil is and was (unfortunately) not able to teach his son some proper manners, it's Dante's turn to show his father-skills. So expect more of "daddy Dante and sonny Nero".
"Fatherhood is..." is a series featuring fathers and their kids in different "fatherhood themes". The idea is copyrighted by Kirschenwasser (A. Bergmann). The characters are copyrighted by their rightful owners.
Dante: sheesh Vergil could of least told me Nero was an ungrateful punk. Nero: I am not! Dante: kid you need to calm by the way Vergil is gonna get pay for making me do this. Nero: what does he have to with this isn't he dead? Dante: his spirit dwells in yamato or at least that is case what you thought that demon ghost floating above ya was your devil trigger? Man.. Nero: so basically the spirit of my father lives in yamato. Dante: pretty much kid.
Think about it at least for a second of the spirit that appears when Nero uses yamato I believe it's Vergil's soul.
